animated headlines 2

posted Wednesday, 9 November 2005

Now, you see if it were to be at allĀ useful, you'd want to know it updated, wouldn't you? I've put it into a banner in Blackboard, where it works fine <phew>, but as I had to save it as a gif first rather than link to it (which you could if you put it in a content area) I wouldn't expect it to be able to update. However (actually, the however, is at least it didn't screw up Blackboard, cos of course I did it on my live server. Ahem) the one which is using the link to it on feedburner also seems to be a static animation, if you see what I mean. And what's the point of that. SUrely it ought to update?? No point telling people the latest headlines are three posts out of date.... (All of which could have been an update on the first posting, except the smarter among you had already worked out it was to see if it updates. And now I'm late for choir. I must stop finding things and not simply bookmarking them... Oh no, that's what I did at Durham and why I've a DVD of things I was-going-to-get-around-to-reading-one-day....)
